I had the absolute best time photographing these sweet puppies! All nine of them! I could seriously snuggle these sweet babies foreverrrr. The softest and most playful little pups. I was in puppy heaven, hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their fun Easter session!
If you would like more information on adopting one of these sweet puppies, you can contact their (human) mama Lacey at 541.916.0656 or laceyk0213@gmail.com

This session was meant to be. It took a lot of planning and re-planning to get us all in one place at one time. But when we finally did- magic happened.
We had, maybe 20 minutes before the sun would fully set and we were headed to a location I had never been. I’m not gonna lie I was a little worried.
As you’re about to see, I shouldn’t have been. I love every image of this gorgeous fam<3

So many amazing sessions this fall! I’m a little late but determined to get all of these beautiful sessions posted!
Amy + Chris and their two beautiful kiddos, the day ended up way chillier than expected but the sunset was gorgeous and they were troopers about the cold!

This session made my heart happy.
I’ve known this girl for 22 years.. we’ve been through a lot together and nothing makes me happier than being able to capture her beautiful family and the joy that radiates amongst them all.
I think its easy to allow the day to day to get us down, it seems everyone is always going in 100 different directions. Sometimes it’s hard to slow down and see the beauty within your own life.
And that is precisely why I love what I do so much, I want to be there for those moments. The ones that make all the other stuff worth it. The moments that make your heart just almost burst.
This entire session made me feel that way.

I had such a great time meeting this sweet family. Wesley absolutely stole my heart with those bright blue eyes and that gorgeous smile! We started the session in his nursery, than moved on to their neighborhood park. I love photographing families in their “spaces” (homes, parks, places they frequent) I always feel it adds another element, makes it extra special when the location means something.

Okay get ready for an over share, because this family was so gorgeous, the light so perfect, I just couldn’t stop snapping.
I had a really hard time choosing which photos to share because I just love them all!
Without further ado, I will let these photos speak for themselves. But let’s just say I’m already looking forward to them scheduling their next session!

The annual photo update for the Barker family couldn’t have been sweeter. I love when get to watch kiddos grow up through my lens. We’ve been doing family photos ever since miss Zoey was about six months old. It’s hard to believe she’s going to be 7 in March!

A while back a client of mine contacted me with a vision of something simple, something laid back, something to capture this time in her and her girls lives.
“What about a studio session?’
I had been swooning over a natural light studio in SE Porltand for some time and this seemed the perfect opportunity.
Dana was in and we started planning all of the details.
Let me tell you, I didn’t realize quite how much I would love the results. Because I am obsessed!
Living in Oregon, once the rainy months hit it can be difficult to plan outdoor shoots, I love in home sessions but this gives another option. Its such a beautiful space.
I’ve decided going into 2020 I will be offering more studio sessions, possibly a mini session day! Stay tuned for details on that, but in the meantime check out these dreamy images and contact me if you’d like to get your studio session booked!

If it’s felt like I haven’t been around lately…it’s because I haven’t.
This sweet bundle arrived January 27th and turned our world upside down in the best way possible.
She stole our hearts from moment one.
And we knew…life would never be the same again.
I’ve spent hours upon hours staring at her perfect face. And even more than that kissing her sweet cheeks and tiny hands.
She’s been growing so fast. She needs to slow down.
I could spend forever marveling at the wonder that is her.
But I’ve also been starting to miss work.
So as my sweet girl approaches her 3 month birthday, I know it’s time to jump back in.
Thank you for your patience as I took the time to bond with this cutie pie.
Coming up this week I will have the adorable Duke up on the blog!

There’s something to be said for a small, intimate wedding, for gathering your closest family and friends and having a day that is laid back, sweet, personal. Angel and Becky’s wedding was just that. I felt honored to capture this fun and rustic barn wedding.
I have known Angel for a few years and met Becky when we got together to discuss their wedding details. She is one of those beautiful people who has the ability to immediately put you at ease and make you feel comfortable. She is so clearly genuine. I love that in a person.
To witness the union between these two was to know how happy they will be.
