I had the absolute best time photographing these sweet puppies! All nine of them! I could seriously snuggle these sweet babies foreverrrr. The softest and most playful little pups. I was in puppy heaven, hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their fun Easter session!
If you would like more information on adopting one of these sweet puppies, you can contact their (human) mama Lacey at 541.916.0656 or firstname.lastname@example.org

This family, gosh I love them. I get so excited when fall rolls around and it’s time for our annual shoot. This year we decided to head down to 5th Street Public Market and I am beyond in love with how these images turned out! It kind of helps that Marley is seriously the cutest thing ever —- I mean come on! Is she for real?
We had such a fun afternoon exploring the market, taking photos and eating sour patch kids, of course. Here is a handful of my favorites.

It’s always such an honor (and slightly nerve wracking) when a fellow photographer asks you to photograph her family. I have known Stacey for quite some time now, having met years ago when I worked with her sister in insurance. Over the last three or four years we have had the chance to shoot together at a handful of weddings and I have had the pleasure of getting to know her better. Stacey is such a sweet, kind hearted soul. When I was pregnant with Harper she took our maternity photos and last year after her youngest, Alex was born I went to their house to shoot her newborn photos.
I was SO EXCITED when she contacted me to do some updated photos this fall. I knew I would end up loving whatever we came up with and I was definitely not disappointed. The relationships within this family are so special, they are so kind to each other, their love is so abundant. Choosing which photos to preview here has been a task because I LOVE THEM ALL.

My good friend, and fellow photographer, Jamie had a baby and five and a half months later I finally got to meet him. AND I got to capture his first trip to the pumpkin patch! I cannot think of a better way to celebrate being 5 1/2 months old.
To see the world through the eyes of a child is an incredible thing and this little guy was so curious about all of it! Capturing the first time he felt (and okay tasted) hay, a pumpkin, the grass…I just loved it all! Here is a little preview of our fun afternoon!

I just love watching this family grow up. Not only are they a fun, gorgeous family of four but they are some of our best friends so any excuse to see them is always a plus! It’s hard to believe its been almost six years since our first session. We had a blast hanging out at Lone Pine eating apple cider donuts and choosing the best pumpkin.
Did I mention how much I love this family?

That’s right guys it is officially, as of today September 22nd, my favorite season! Not only do I love Fall for it’s amazingly beautiful colors, for the absolutely perfect ‘golden’ hour and for sunsets that light the sky on fire… (although I really really love Fall for all of these reasons!)
I love Fall because it means football. LOTS of football.
I love Fall because it means gorgeous boots and scarves and cozy sweaters.
…because it means I can indulge my pumpkin addiction as often as I like in almost any form I want (pumpkin oreos?? I’m not totally sold but I mean it seems like I should probably give them a chance….)
…..because it means Halloween and Thanksgiving. Dressing up crazy and eating tons of delicious food, need I say more?
And one of the things I truly love most is all of the amazing client sessions I shoot throughout the fall<3 Each and every one always turns into such a fun day and looking back over the years they always seem to turn into my favorite sessions.
What are some of your favorite things about Fall? I would love to hear about them here in the comments section!
OK. Now back to editing!!!

FINALLY catching up on some much needed blog posts! First in line is this adorable session I had with this cutie patootie! Her mom, Cassie, is a good friend of mine and I am so happy they’ve moved home! This sweet girl was one of the most mellow newborns I have ever photographed as she just did her thing and let me do mine. Two years later she wasn’t quite as mellow ( I mean she is two!) but she definitely still just did her thing and let me do mine. I had trouble choosing photos for this blog post because there were just so many great ones! Hope you enjoy a few photos from this fun day at the pumpkin patch!!
