I had such a great time meeting this sweet family. Wesley absolutely stole my heart with those bright blue eyes and that gorgeous smile! We started the session in his nursery, than moved on to their neighborhood park. I love photographing families in their “spaces” (homes, parks, places they frequent) I always feel it adds another element, makes it extra special when the location means something.

Okay get ready for an over share, because this family was so gorgeous, the light so perfect, I just couldn’t stop snapping.
I had a really hard time choosing which photos to share because I just love them all!
Without further ado, I will let these photos speak for themselves. But let’s just say I’m already looking forward to them scheduling their next session!

The annual photo update for the Barker family couldn’t have been sweeter. I love when get to watch kiddos grow up through my lens. We’ve been doing family photos ever since miss Zoey was about six months old. It’s hard to believe she’s going to be 7 in March!

A while back a client of mine contacted me with a vision of something simple, something laid back, something to capture this time in her and her girls lives.
“What about a studio session?’
I had been swooning over a natural light studio in SE Porltand for some time and this seemed the perfect opportunity.
Dana was in and we started planning all of the details.
Let me tell you, I didn’t realize quite how much I would love the results. Because I am obsessed!
Living in Oregon, once the rainy months hit it can be difficult to plan outdoor shoots, I love in home sessions but this gives another option. Its such a beautiful space.
I’ve decided going into 2020 I will be offering more studio sessions, possibly a mini session day! Stay tuned for details on that, but in the meantime check out these dreamy images and contact me if you’d like to get your studio session booked!

I was a little nervous going into this session.
Not for the reasons you might think, this beautiful family has been a valued client of mine for years now and I knew they were all going to bring the magic.
No, I was worried because the entire drive out to the beautiful Tualitin Wild Life Refuge, it was POURING. I don’t mean a light sprinkle, I mean like torrential rains, wipers going as fast as they could and I still couldn’t see the road.
I sat there, for the entire drive and willed the rain to stop. And than something amazing happened. It did.
We got there and there was not one rain drop to be seen. Instead the sky decided to show off with some amazingly gorgeous dark rain clouds. I was obsessed.
Sometimes things work out perfectly and these dark clouds that kept rolling through were just the best.
